Kristen and Calin and Leslie and Andrew's engagement portraits

Last week, I did Kristen and Calin's Engagement protrait in Sobe on Friday and Leslie and Andrew's in Palm Beach on Saturday.

Kristen and Calin are getting married on Dec 29 in Miami and Leslie and Andrew are getting married in Pittsburgh in May.

I am so lucky to have such beautiful and fun clients!!!!!!!!!!

Hard at work

In spite of the great things happening, I am still working late every night working on albums. This is lots of fun but time consuming.

I really believe that I will continue doing all the design work myself. Many photographers have passed the work to services, but I really want it to be more personal.

I just finished Tara and Chris's album, see one of the spreads on the right.

RANGEFINDER Article

I am very flattered and honored to have another article written about Marty and I and the LDG (Landau Design Group) album by Kambara. A special thanks to Josh Scott who helped me design the fasteners. He and his wife Lisa have been very great friends since my racing days. and we have had alot of fun together. They are very special.

RANGEFINDER is also covering out working from the boat and Wendy and Jeff's wedding on Little Palm Island.

RANGEFINDER is on of the largest photographer trade magazines in the world.

Amanda and Roiby

I just had to put something up for Amanda and Roiby.

I haven't photographed their wedding yet, but I just printed their engagement portrait album. They are a very cute couple and I wanted to post something since they mentioned that they love watching my BLOG.

Here's one atcha!!!

Thanks!

Lorrie and Erik's Album

I have just finished Lorrie and Erik's album design. This is a very special album. It will be printed on 12x12 fine art paper and bound like a real book into a fine leather and a metal front cover with an image lasered into the metal. This album is 89 pages!!! Love it! It tells the whole story, just like I like it.

I have quite a bunch of albums to do this winter, and I am working late every night to get them out. I am very fortunate to love this work, or it would be very difficult. Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to give you everything I can.

Maria and Jordan's Wedding Dec 1 07

Most of the time, I get to meet my clients before the wedding. Maria and Jordan are one of those I didn't. So much has changed with the "Information Age".

I do prefer to meet first, but it is so great to just have a couple e-mails and phone calls to get a view of what people want and how wonderful and diverse my clients are.

Maria and Jordan live in North Carolina but much of the family lives in Fla. So they chose "The Addison" in Boca Raton. This is a popular place but this is the first time I have photographed there. The architecture is great with a couple Banyan trees growing in the middle.

The wedding was scheduled for 5:30 which is well after dark, so we decided to do a shoot before. I did a little research and found a couple great sites. I found restored train passenger cars at a museum. I am a big fan of railroad stuff, but I felt a little funny since these where the kind of cars that my brothers and I used come down from Pittsburgh to visit our grand parents on Singer Island. Another great place to shoot is on Camino Real. The palm trees are beautiful.

The wedding was outside in the courtyard, followed by a reception upstairs in the restaurant. It was a small room, but the energy was great!

Maria and Jordan are honeymooning in St. Lucia. Have fun guys, your slide show is on the way.
